Max Air has transported 30,067 Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia -- Official

Kano, Oct. 7, 2012 (NAN) Max Airline, one of air carriers for this year's Hajj operation, has so far transported 30,067 Muslim pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Ibrahim Dahiru, the spokesman of the airline has said.
Dahiru said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Kano that the airline was contracted to convey 45,524 pilgrims from 17 states of the country.
According to him, the company has completed the transportation of pilgrims from Jigawa, Nasarawa, Niger and Taraba States while only one flight remained for pilgrims from Katsina and Kebbi States.
Dahiru expressed optimism that the airline would complete the exercise, which commenced on Sept. 19, in good time for the pilgrims to perform the Hajj.
He expressed satisfaction with the support and cooperation the airline had enjoyed from the respective states Pilgrims Welfare Boards and the intending pilgrims.
Dahiru attributed the successes recorded in the transportation of the pilgrims to the cooperation of all stakeholders. (NAN)
